Taylor’s road to Double-A has been far from smooth. After getting kicked off his Junior College team and having a scholarship to Arizona State fall through due to academic issues, Taylor stumbled into pro ball as a 36th-round pick of the Dodgers. Taylor had no backup plan after the Dodgers released him following a position change and Tommy John surgery. His wake-up call did not arrive until he fell into Independent Baseball. Newly married, with a fresh outlook on his career, Taylor is ready to change his path in his second chance at affiliated ball.
